A Safe Space For Kids

The internet has fast become a scarier place for parents. Due to their naive nature,  children are especially vulnerable to predators circling the internet who leap at the first opportunity of getting them to click that shiny button that asks for just a bit more money.

We at Little Book Selves plan to create an environment where parents of young children can enjoy some the best of what the internet has to offer without worrying about lost of seemingly small charges that add up to a lot. We keep the internet safe and fun for kids of all age groups – just like it should be.

How it All Started

Starting our journey with film animation and commercials we jumped on the niche of kids’ entertainment because we wanted better experiences for own own kids. We realized just how unsafe the internet was for kids and wanted to try another path- on that might positively affect any child who happens across our apps.

Prepare for a Glorious Ride

We’re in the age of internet and kids need to be introduced to the world that hides behind the screen of their latest tech gadget. With the high influx of predatory applications, parents seem to have lost all trust on the internet and are thinking of ways to cut down on their “screen time.”

When they do have that screen time, we want them to have a positive, engaging and safe experience. We are creating fun-filled applications and games for children.

The kinds of experiences we want for our own kids.

Some of the core ideas of what we want in all of our apps:

  • Ad Free | No have to click to get past ads that might take kids out of the application you might have chose for them
  • Closed applications | Pulling in content from wherever else.
  • No Predatory Practices | We want to charge fair one time prices for new content rather than nickel and diming our customers for a new outfit or hair style.
  • Unique Experiences | We’ll strive to make the best use of what technologies come in play to provide fun and engaging play sessions
  • Great Animation  | We think children appreciate good work. We aim to deliver that.
